Here at Bellinter boarding kennels and cattery we have over thirty five years experience in providing dog and cat boarding services. We pride ourselves on running a professional boarding service to ensure your pet receives the best possible care during their stay with us. We are fully licensed and authorised by Meath County Council under "The Dog Breeding Establishment Act 2010".
Our family run boarding kennels and cattery aim to provide both cats and dogs with a warm, friendly and relaxing environment whilst they are boarding with us. We do as much as we can to keep our guests happy, giving them lots of fuss and attention and looking after their individual needs.
Dog Boarding Service
Our purpose-built kennels are heated during colder months and are both spacious and comfortable, to provide our guests with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We can cater for all sizes and ages of dogs from small toy to large breeds.
Dogs are boarded in individual kennels with an indoor sleeping area and an outdoor run attached. Although on request from owners, dogs from the same household can be accommodated together if required.
The dogs themselves are exercised individually in our secure exercise area and are always given lots of fuss and loving attention to ensure they are happy while they are with us. We know that dogs can be just as fussy as cats when it comes to diet, and we are happy to cater for individual or special dietary needs on request.
We are happy to care for special needs dogs and can also cater for bitches in season.
All dogs must have an up to date certificate of vaccination, including canine cough. These certificates must be produced otherwise we cannot accept your dog.
24 hour vet cover is available if needed, however this will be billed to the owner.

Cattery Services
Every cat is assured of a stress-free and happy stay with us, with lots of love and individual fuss and caring attention. We have built suites which are spacious and comfortable, to help make cats feel relaxed while they boarding with us. Each of our custom made suites provide comfy built-in perches so your cat can bask in the sunlight. The suites also include plush beds for sleeping along with suspended walkways and various hidey-holes for guests to tuck themselves into.
All cats are boarded in individual suites. Although cats from the same household may lodge together if required as our suites are large enough.
We know cats can be very fussy about what they eat, so can cater for special and individual dietary needs on request.
All cats must have an up to date certificate of vaccination. These certificates must be produced otherwise we cannot accept your cat. Male cats over the age of seven months which have not been neutered will not be accepted for boarding.
24 hour vet cover is available if needed, however this will be billed to the owner.
